Hi, I’m Rachael Yuan – and yes, this is my little ceramic world!

I was born and raised in Jingdezhen, China – a city that has been known as the “Porcelain Capital” for over a thousand years. Ceramics are in my blood: both of my parents have worked in the ceramic arts for decades, even before I was born, and my mother is an incredibly talented sculptor. Growing up surrounded by clay, kilns, and craftsmanship, I naturally developed a deep love and appreciation for ceramic art.

After moving to Auckland, I was surprised to find that many people had never heard of Jingdezhen, let alone its long and beautiful ceramic tradition. That realization sparked something in me. I wanted to share the artistry, history, and spirit of my hometown with people here in New Zealand—and beyond.

That’s how this journey began.

At our store, we offer a range of carefully handmade ceramic pieces: from delicate bone china teacup sets and traditional Chinese Kongfu teacups to unique ceramic bookmarks and elegant vases of all sizes. Every item reflects not only the timeless craftsmanship of Jingdezhen but also a bit of my own story.

My goal is to create a one-stop shop for beautiful, handmade ceramic crafts—pieces that you’ll love using, gifting, or simply admiring. I hope our products bring a little joy and a lot of charm into your life.
